Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 April 2026

PostEmployed respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you join the waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it short and free of legalese.

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, your role (free text), and which of our products you're interested in (income protection, upskilling, or both). If you choose to fill in the optional survey, we also collect industry, salary band, years of experience, employer size, country, your self-assessment of how exposed your role is to AI, and a free-text response.

We automatically capture a coarse country signal from request headers (we do not store full IP addresses), your browser's user agent (used to filter bots), and any referral or UTM parameters present in the URL you arrived from.

2. How we use it

We use your information to keep you informed about PostEmployed, to shape what we build first, and — in aggregate, with personally identifying details removed — to demonstrate demand to prospective insurance and education partners. We do not sell your data.

A small number of vetted processors help us run the service: our email provider sends our communications, our hosting provider serves this site, and our analytics provider gives us cookieless traffic insights. Each operates under standard data-processing terms.

3. How long we keep it

We retain your record for as long as you wish to remain on the waitlist. If you ask us to delete it, we will, normally within 30 days. Aggregated, de-identified data may be retained for analytical purposes after that point.

4. Cookies

We use one first-party cookie, pe_ref, which stores a referral code if you arrived via a friend's referral link. It expires after 30 days. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Our analytics provider is cookieless.

5. Email

We will only email you about PostEmployed — product updates, early-access invites, and the kind of things you'd expect from a waitlist you joined deliberately. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (Australia Privacy Act 1988, New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA, and others), you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local regulator. To exercise any of these, email hello@postemployed.com.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
